I know how this sounds. Saying “Donald Trump is the best president ever” these days is like walking into a storm with a lightning rod. But I’m not backing down—not because I’m blind, but because I’m wide awake. I’ve watched, I’ve read, I’ve lived through it. And no matter how loud the media screams or how many late-night comedians roll their eyes, the facts—and my own experience—tell a different story.

Let me explain.

I Didn’t Always Support Him

I didn’t vote for Trump in 2016. Honestly, I bought into the media narrative: that he was dangerous, impulsive, even unstable. But then I watched something happen that I hadn’t seen in years: the economy started booming. Wages rose, especially for the working class. Manufacturing jobs came back. The stock market soared. Minority unemployment hit record lows. Say what you want about tweets or tone—those aren’t just headlines. Those are people’s lives, and mine was one of them.

Then 2020 Happened

Yes, the pandemic hit on Trump’s watch. But here’s the truth: no president, Democrat or Republican, had a playbook for a once-in-a-century virus cooked up in China. Trump shut down travel from China early on, a move even Dr. Fauci initially said wasn’t necessary. Biden called it xenophobic at the time—then later admitted it was the right thing to do.

Operation Warp Speed, anyone? That was Trump’s administration. The vaccines that the media praised (until they didn’t)? Trump made that happen in record time. You don’t have to like him, but you do have to admit that matters.

What About Now?

Fast forward to 2024 and 2025. Inflation has been brutal. Gas prices, groceries, rent—everything has skyrocketed. Under Trump? We had $2 gas and grocery bills that didn’t require a second mortgage. Say what you want about his style, but people could live under Trump.

And don’t get me started on the border. Under Trump, we had the Remain in Mexico policy, construction on the wall, and ICE actually doing its job. Now? We’re seeing record crossings, fentanyl pouring in, and cities collapsing under the weight of migrant influxes. Even liberal mayors are begging for help.

I ask people: do you feel safer, richer, or freer today than you did under Trump? Most people, if they’re honest, say no.

The Indictments Prove My Point

Let’s talk about the elephant in the room: the indictments. Trump’s been targeted more than any president in history. But think about it—why would the establishment, media, and even some in the GOP go to such lengths to silence one man? Because he’s that much of a threat to their system.

You don’t try to jail someone you’re not scared of. They tried with Russia. Failed. Ukraine call? Another fail. Jan 6th? Still no conviction. Now they’re digging through paperwork and free speech? It’s obvious: they want to make sure he can’t run again, because they know he’ll win.

And the irony? Every indictment just makes his support stronger. He’s raised more money, climbed in the polls, and even brought over some independents who don’t like him but hate government overreach more.

Look Around

People are waking up. You see it in union workers shifting red. You see it in Black and Hispanic voters showing up at Trump rallies in record numbers. You see it in young people who’ve never trusted politicians, but feel like Trump at least says what others are too scared to say.

And honestly? I’m tired of apologizing for liking a guy who actually did what he promised. He didn’t sell out to China. He didn’t start any new wars. He didn’t bow to corporate lobbyists. He told the U.N. to stop freeloading and told NATO to pay their share. That’s called putting America first. And I want more of it.
